I Want To Stay At MUFC And Help Out – Ruud van Nistelrooy

Manchester United legend, Ruud van Nistelrooy has come out to say that he wants to stay at the club even after Ruben Amorim takes over. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, it was a fantastic opportunity when MUFC approached him after he left PSV, and he had to put his management ambitions aside to join the club he adores.

RVN added that it was a deliberate decision to join and help out, and that remains his focus till now.

His words, “Before I came to United I was looking to manage, no doubt about that. When United came in with this opportunity, for me, it was a fantastic opportunity. I wanted to be here and I put that [management ambitions] aside. For me, that was a deliberate decision to come here and help out. I just want to stay and do the same thing and, for me, that’s my focus for the moment.”

Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division in the English football league system.

The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
