By now it should come as no surprise that the internet is a savage when it comes to turning photos of celebrities into memes. After poking fun at Jay-Z’s awkward jet-ski photo, and a tropical storm called Hurricane Chris, Twitter has now turned Cardi B’s childhood photo into a tattle-telling meme.
The photo, which features a young Cardi B standing with her hand on her hip, has inspired fans to create jokes about bad kids and children with smart mouths. “My momma said y’all have to play with me,” reads one meme. “My momma said your daddy ain’t in college, he in jail,” reads another.
Cardi herself has shared the some of the photos and appears to be having a good time with them. “Yaaaa annoying for this 😩😩😩😩😂Leave five year old Belcalis alone 😤😤,” she wrote in the caption of one photo. The “Be Careful” rapper also admitted the captions of the memes were actually on point. “😂😂😂😂😂😂😂too funny cause i was a smart ass like this 😩😩😩,” she wrote.
