Napoli striker Rasmus Hojlund has heaped praise on Arsenal’s formidable defensive unit. He recently had his say after Napoli’s narrow Champions League defeat in north London, and fans have been reacting.
Hailing Gabriel Magalhaes as the team’s vital anchor, Hojlund expressed his admiration for Mikel Arteta’s impressive squad depth amid defensive absences.
Rasmus added that he was pleased with his individual performance despite his club’s defeat away from home.
His words, “It’s hard for me to rank them because they obviously have a lot of good defenders.
They have Mosquera and Saliba out and they just put Konsa in and so it’s a strong side.
I think also Gabriel is the anchor of the team, I think he’s really, really strong he knows how to handle a duel.
I think I did well today even though I come off with nothing but I held up the ball well and it was good for me to try against the best of the best, even though we didn’t win.”
