Los Angeles FC forward, Carlos Vela likes the idea of a loan move to Barcelona at the end of the MLS season.
Vela said there is no way he can say no to playing alongside a player like Lionel Messi.
The Los Angeles FC player was reportedly considered by Barcelona in January as they looked for a backup to Uruguay striker, Luis Suarez.
Carlos even confirmed that the deal was “really close” but the short-term move broke down as Barca opted for Kevin-Prince Boateng instead, who hardly played during his 6 months at the club.
Speaking recently on how he would react if such opportunity comes up again, his words, “Who could say no to playing with Messi for four months and then coming back to LA?
“Enjoy, learn and then come back home.”
Reacting to Zlatan blasting suggestions that he was the best player in the MLS and saying that is not right because he is playing in the US in his prime, Vela said, “I have not had the pleasure [of meeting Ibrahimovic],”
“Maybe the people don’t really love my decision [to play in MLS].
“But for me, it was the best option, and I’m really happy that I made it because I am enjoying it.”
