The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has redeployed four Deputy Inspectors-General of Police to head departments and formations as part of efforts “to reposition the Force for better efficiency”.
A statement on Monday in Abuja by the Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, said those affected include Dan’Azumi Doma, who is now the DIG in-charge of Department of Finance and Administration, FHQ, Abuja.
Other transfers are as follows: Kakwe Katso (DIG in-charge of Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department, Abuja); DIG Chintua Amajor-Onu, (Department of Information and Communications Technology FHQ Abuja) and DIG Olawale Adeniji (Department of Research and Planning, FHQ, Abuja).
“DIGs Mamman Tsafe in charge of Department of Logistics and Supply, FHQ Abuja, Saliu Argungu Hashimu, Department of Training and Development, FHQ Abuja and Sotonye Wakama, Department of Operations, FHQ Abuja still maintained their duty posts”, the statement added, noting that the postings were with immediate effect.
