IGEL’s 100% channel strategy drives growth for partner network
Reading, UK February 25th, 2014 – IGEL channel partners have been recognized with awards from the thin and zero client manufacturer for their outstanding business performance in 2013. Ultima Business Solutions was awarded IGEL Business Partner of the Year 2013 for its record 234% year-on-year growth.
Regional awards went to EACS in the Midlands. Intercept in London, Cetus in the North and West and Deverills in the South.
Commenting on their award, Colin Prime-Moore, of Ultima Business Solutions Ltd, said:
“IGEL is an integral part of our Desktop as a Service strategy (Ultima OneDesk), providing our customers a great end-user experience on a cost effective endpoint device. Our DaaS Solution leverages IGEL integration with VDI and Single Sign-On partners to provide our customers with the very best end-to-end solution on the market.”
The awards were made at the IGEL Partner Days held in Reading and Manchester where IGEL’s UK partners attended to hear business and product updates, marketing plans and to connect with other partners and exchange information. The events were also used to help recertify partners for the IGEL partner programme.
The IGEL UK Partner Programme has grown to 110 channel partners who all benefit from pre-sales technical support and marketing programmes, as well as a 100% channel focused sales model.
“With many organizations looking to extend the life of their desktop hardware and cut management costs using server-based computing or virtual desktop environments, IGEL’s software and hardware thin and zero clients are proving a big success with our resellers and their customers,” said Simon Richards, IGEL’s Managing Director for the UK & Ireland. “Unlike many manufacturers, we run a 100% channel strategy and our highly trained, expert channel partners are integral in providing customers with the right IGEL solutions and advice. These awards recognize our very best partners from around the country.”
