Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has come out to insist that Kelechi Iheanacho would get his chance this season. He recently revealed that the fact remains that the Nigerian striker is best in a system that plays 2 strikers.
According to him, Iheanacho has been training well like the good professional that he is, so he’ll definitely feature at some point.
Brendan added that Kelechi is aware that he’ll get his chance soon, therefore he only needs to keep working hard.
His words, “I think we’ve said it before: he’s best in a two, that’s clear, that’s when he’s been really good.”
“He’s training well, he’s a great professional, Kels, and he knows he’s going to feature over the course of this period at some point.”
