I stumbled upon this piece written by a gentleman, Rufai Wasiu Adeyemi reflecting on the person of Hon. Sunday Solarin which I am obliged to share as I am also a living witness to Mr Adeyemi’s submission and also a beneficiary of Hon Solarin’s services to humanity. Hon Sunday Solarin will be contesting for State House of Assembly to represent Ikenne State Constituency under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). I can vouch for his personality as also being heralded in the piece below. Ikenne State Constituency people should not get it wrong this time around!
Please read Mr Rufai Adeyemi’s view below:
2019 on my mind, if the country is to consolidate on our Democratic achievement so far, we need people that are knowledgeable, experienced and methodological.
Sunday Adekunle Solarin, a man of honour, integrity and candour.
I attest to the fact that your incursion into politics was solution-oriented and for good representation of your people.
As a village boy, you have told me severally that we cannot all selfishly move to the city, you believe that you can make the village a home by bringing development closer to the village.
At last count, you have made Ogere an annex of OAU, that village has many OAU graduate in the last 10 years and many more chartered accountants made from disadvantaged background.

You have empowered people from your meagre earnings and always hungry to see people feed.
My selfless and Amiable brother, you made the village my home, I dare not go to Lagos or return to Ibadan without having a feel of the Village Ofada with green pepper. A delicacy that you are trying to internationalise.
You live simple and think global, your dream and vision exceed our generation, your thoughtfulness, love, care and affinity for your people is contagious.
Your dint of hard work and toils day and night to ensure the progress and happiness of your constituency will come to fruition in 2019.
I connect with your passion to bring the aspirations and agitation for a better life of your people to the fore and I wish you well in this quest.
I assure you of all kinds of support humanly and divinely possible.
Congratulations in advance….
