Following his signing for Manchester City, German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has started house hunting as he look to settle into his new club.
Gundogan joined Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year contract earlier in the month.
The 25-year-old was spotted house hunting with his parents in Manchester on the morning of Saturday, June 18.
Gundogan who is currently nursing a knee injury which ruled him out of Germany squad for Euro 2016 was walking in crutches as he was pictured out and about with his parents, Irfan and Ayten.
The injury will likely see him miss the opening stages of the 2016-17 campaign, but incoming boss Guardiola has nonetheless opted to make the influential midfielder his first City signing.
“I’m thrilled to have signed for Manchester City,” Gundogan said when he signed for the Citizens.
“When I learned of City’s interest my heart was set on coming here and things have moved very quickly.
“I have loved my time with Borussia Dortmund and I would like to thank the club and the supporters for the five very happy years I spent there. They gave me a platform to play on and I became a better player because of the belief, patience and trust they showed in me.”
