Argentina coach, Lionel Scaloni has come out to say that talks with Lionel Messi are planned over his managerial future. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he already had a conversation with Messi about it, but further discussions will be had for a final decision to be reached.
Scaloni added that he does not have any issues with the current AFA leadership, and they all have a friendly relationship at the moment.
His words, “I spoke with Leo [Messi], we are going to talk again in a few days and from there we are going to make a decision, the best decision for the Argentina national team which is the most important thing. There’s nothing wrong with the AFA leadership, I speak with Chiqui tapia and we have a friendly relationship. My doubts are not in that area, but from something football-related, thinking about what’s coming and feeling good and about being ready for it. The bar is high and we need a lot of energy and for everyone to understand what’s coming. It is a personal decision and that of the coaching staff.”
