New Arsenal signing, Oleksandr Zinchenko has come out to say that joining Arsenal fulfils his boyhood dream. He recently revealed this while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he has always wanted to follow in Henry and Fabregas’ footsteps at the club because he is a massive fan of both players and their footballing journeys.
Zinchenko added that it is a dream come true to be a Gunner and he looks forward to an amazing experience at the club.
His words, “I would like to say this is a boyhood dream come true, because I was a massive fan when I was a kid,”
“[When] Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas [were] playing here, I was just enjoying watching those games, that Arsenal. Obviously I started to love this club, so I am so excited and I cannot wait to play.
“It’s unbelievable, honestly, like I said, it’s a dream come true and since I was a kid I couldn’t even dream about it, but now it’s time, so I’m so happy.”
