Real Madrid striker, Kylian Mbappe has come out to admit that he has had a difficult start to his journey at the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it has definitely not been the best start to the season for him and the team, but people should not judge until after the second half of the campaign.
Mbappe added that despite the criticism he keeps facing in Spain, he’ll definitely succeed at Real Madrid.
His words, “We’re here. It’s not the best start to the season, but we’re preparing for the trophies that will count. We’ve already won the European Super Cup. It’s not up to what we expected, but at Real, we wait in the second half of the season. That’s where you’ll be judged.
If you’re a star, people talk about you if you don’t talk. That’s why I’m talking today. Every day, there’s something, even though I haven’t done any interviews. I don’t talk. I think it comes from the fact that we have to talk about Kylian at all costs. This is the first time I’ve left France. Now, I’m not here anymore.
[At Madrid] You discover a new context, a new club, climate, environment. You open all your senses. It’s more about observation. I’m going to succeed here.”
