Everton owner, Farhad Moshiri has come out to apologise to the club’s fans for mistakes made during a challenging season that nearly led to relegation. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it was really not been a good enough season for Everton football club, and he feels everyone at the club has to do better in years to come.
Farhad added that he is grateful to the fans that gave the players incredible support that helped them over the line when they most needed it.
His words, “It has not been good enough and we need to do better,”
“Mistakes have been made and for that I want to apologise to all of you.”
“The stadium alone will not help us achieve our objectives and we are committed to not making the same mistakes again – including how we have not always spent significant amounts of money wisely.”
“You have given us incredible support that helped us over the line when we most needed it, and we must repay that support and show that lessons have been learned.”
