Jardim’s side eliminated Arsenal back in 2015 and twice beat Tottenham in this season’s Champions League group stage.
And on Wednesday’s second-leg round-of-16 tie against City, Monaco overturned a 5-3 deficit to win on away goals after a 6-6 aggregate draw.
First-half goals from Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho put the Ligue 1 leaders ahead and although Leroy Sane hit back for City, Tiemoue Bakayoko sealed victory with a header 13 minutes from time.
And Jardim said: “Against English teams we have good results. We beat Arsenal, City and Tottenham, three strong teams. Today is one of my best moments as a coach but I hope it will not be the last.
“It is difficult to play against City and not concede but we are the best attacking side in the world and I told my players if they scored three goals they would qualify.
“They believed it and played really well. Now we are very happy.”
