Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to say that Kevin De Bruyne will commit to a new deal with the club. He recently revealed that even if he is in the dark about the negotiation process, he sees KDB signing pretty soon.
According to him, he is certain that the Belgian will put pen to paper in the coming weeks, but fans will have to respect the process.
He added that City owners know how De Bruyne is perceived at the club, so he is far from worried about his future.
His words, “I’m pretty sure that he will stay but at the same time we have to respect the process,”
“I don’t know what’s going on because I didn’t speak with Txiki [Begiristain, Man City director of football] but he knows how we perceive him – not just as a football player, but as a person, how important he is for the club. But I’m not worried.
“At the end it’s his decision and hopefully it’s going to finish well.”
