US President, Joe Biden has come out to reiterate that he will not grant a pardon to his son, Hunter. Recall that his son was recently convicted of federal firearm offenses in Delaware, and the world has been reacting.
Reacting hours ago, Biden revealed that his son is one of the brightest, most decent men he knows, but he would be granting him any pardon for the offense he committed.
Biden added that even if he is very proud of his boy for overcoming his addiction, he’d abide by the decision of the jury.
His words, “I’m extremely proud of my son Hunter. He has overcome an addiction, he’s one of the brightest, most decent men I know.
I am satisfied that I’m not going to do anything — I said I’d abide by the jury decision. I will do that. And I will not pardon him.”
