Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has come out to say that he is very proud of Kelechi Iheanacho. This is coming after the Nigerian forward grabbed another goal in their 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
According to him, his teammate can’t just stop scoring in the form he is in, so it’ll only get better for Leicester City.
He added that Brendan Rodgers is always particular about his boys being confident with the ball, and Iheanacho currently epitomizes that.
His words, “He just can’t stop scoring at the moment, so I’m very happy for him.”
“Very proud. I just want him to keep doing the things and keep scoring to help the team, so it is good for us.”
“The gaffer also speaks to us about being confident with the ball and being confident about our play.”
“It’s just one of those things where you, as a player, you just need to believe in yourself and I see it in him now. He really believes in himself now and the confidence is there.”
