Real Madrid’s UCL defeat to Lille has me worried, Carlo Ancelotti has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he has been bothered about Los Blancos’ playing style since the start of the season, and everything simply went badly vs Lille last night.

Ancelotti added that Madrid are currently having troubles creating chances, and possession has been with very few ideas.
His words, “It’s difficult to evaluate the game, everything went quite badly. It was difficult for us to do everything. We don’t have to throw everything away and we have to keep a cool head. The feeling is that we are having trouble generating, creating, and possession has been slow, with few ideas… today it is obvious that things have not worked out. We have forwards who need us to play more vertically.
The sadness is because the feeling has not been good, you can lose because this is sport, but today we did not give a good feeling. I am worried. We have all the resources to learn and improve, we have to fix things quickly.
Bellingham is glued to the sideline when we don’t have the ball, but for the rest, it’s the same as last year, it hasn’t changed. I think it’s not enough to talk about the issue to fix it, if it were that way it would be easier. There is a dynamic that needs to be improved, it’s not enough just to talk. I think the team was improving and this is a step backwards.”
WOW.
Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, commonly referred to as Real Madrid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid. The club competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football.
Real Madrid has maintained the white shirt for its home kit throughout the history of the club. There was, however, one season that the shirt and shorts were not both white. It was an initiative undertaken by Juan Padrós in honor of an English team Corinthian F.C., which he had met on one of his trips, one of the most famous teams at the time known for its elegance and sportsmanship.
It was under Florentino Pérez’s first presidency (2000–2006) that Real Madrid started its ambition of becoming the world’s richest professional football club. The club ceded part of its training grounds to the city of Madrid in 2001, and sold the rest to four corporations: Repsol YPF, Mutua Automovilística de Madrid, Sacyr Vallehermoso and OHL.
Hala Madrid is a magazine published quarterly for the Real Madrid club members and the Madridistas Fan Club card holders. The phrase Hala Madrid, meaning “Forward Madrid” or “Go Madrid”, is also the title of the club’s official anthem, which is often sung by the Madridistas (the club’s fans).
