The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that it will vigorously oppose any attempt to manipulate the governorship election scheduled for November 11 in Imo State.
All electoral signs, according to the PDP, point to the party’s victory in Imo State, where it would unseat the incumbent All Progressives Congress, APC.
Debo Ologunagba, the national publicity secretary for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), told reporters on Tuesday in Abuja that Governor Hope Uzodinma and the All Progressives Congress (APC) would not have the support of the people of the state in the next governorship election.

He claimed that the APC is well aware that it lacks popular support and emphasised that Governor Uzodinma enjoys no widespread popular backing in Imo State.
He went on to say that the Governor’s lack of popularity even in his own Orlu zone explains why he’s never been elected.
His prediction: “The indicators are clear and the November 11, 2023 election will not be any different.”The people of Imo have found in Senator Anyanwu a leader who is credible, sincere, humanitarian, and approachable; as a result, Governor Uzodinma will not win in any polling unit in a free, fair, and transparent election.
