Southampton forward, Danny Ings can be Gareth Southgate’s trump card at Euro 2020, according to Ian Wright.
Ian believes the ex Liverpool player has the potential to be England’s version of Diego Forlan or Toto Schillaci in the nearest future.
According to him, Ings has to get the nod because he creates goals out of nothing.
He added that he hopes his form can continue.
His words, “Ings is doing brilliantly. He makes a lot of goals out of nothing.
“I hope he can continue his form. After what he has been through he deserves it.
“When you see the goals he is scoring – brilliant runs, half chances – if he can continue that form he can have a Toto Schillaci or a Diego Forlan [tournament].”
