The Israeli army issued a warning on Tuesday, stating that Iran would not escape repercussions for the series of missiles launched over the weekend.
Iran launched over 300 missiles and drones at Israel in retaliation for an attack on its consulate in Syria, resulting in the deaths of some generals on April 1.
While most of the projectiles aimed at Israel were intercepted by the Israeli defence system with support from the United States and other countries, the Israeli Army spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, emphasized that “Iran will not get (off) scot-free with this aggression.”

Speaking to journalists at the Julis military base and displaying the remains of an intercepted missile, Hagari stated, “We will not allow this aggression in the region.”
He further highlighted that while the world was focused on the “nuclear threat from Iran,” the Islamic Republic was also “building a conventional threat, meaning to create a ring of fire across Israel.”
