Arsenal defender William Saliba has admitted that he has already put the club’s Champions League final heartbreak behind him. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that he is now firmly focused on international glory, Saliba revealed that he is confident that the Gunners will use the UCL heartbreak against PSG as motivation for the 2026-27 campaign.

William, however, added that the French PSG players haven’t stopped teasing him about it.
His words, “I’ve already forgotten, I hope we’ll come back stronger next year.
With the five Parisians at the French camp, we sometimes talk about it, we tease each other a bit at the table, it’s all in good fun.
It was a little easier, given that we had to quickly focus on the World Cup which was coming right after. Even though the first three or four days were difficult.”
