Everton manager, Carlo Ancelotti has come out to say that he is happy with Alex Iwobi and Lucas Digne’s partnership. Ancelotti recently revealed that seeing both players deliver a productive performance vs Wolves yesterday was a delight.
According to him, with Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin out at the moment, a different approach will be useful against oppositions, and he is happy his boys turned up.
He added that the combination between the pair has worked well for Everton this season, and he hopes it continues that way.
His words, “We had a different approach without Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin. We played more to attack the flanks with Iwobi and Digne and it worked well because the first goal was a fantastic combination,”
