After former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai reportedly withdrew his name from consideration for a ministerial nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, public affairs analyst Deji Adeyanju made fun of him.
According to Infostride News, the Senate had delayed confirming El-Rufai and two others after receiving negative security reports from the Department of State Services.
According to reports, El-Rufai told President Tinubu that he was resigning from his ministerial position and offered a replacement.

As a response, Adeyanju suggested that El-Rufai run for office in 2027 as a member of Peter Obi’s Labour Party.
He suggested that the ex-FCT minister run for office alongside Obi, comparing their potential ticket to “a marriage made in heaven.”
He claims that once he switches to the Labour Party, he will be surrounded by other religious extremists.
But if elRufai were to join the Labour Party, it would make a great deal of sense. There he can find another religious extremist to run for president with him in 2027. They’ve decided to join forces in their religious conflict.
It’s safe to say that the Peter/El-Rufai 2027 ticket will do well. The perfect match. “Bigotry and betrayal are in their bloodlines,” he wrote on Twitter on Friday.
