Jonathan Scott Ironed My Clothes Before Proposing To Me – Zooey Deschanel

Hollywood actress Zooey Deschanel has reminisced about her engagement to Jonathan Scott. She recently had her say during an appearance on Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper, and fans have been reacting.

According to the “New Girl” star, her now-fiancé offered to iron her clothes on the day he popped the question, and that raised her suspicions about what he had in store.

Zooey added that there were moments throughout their relationship where she thought Scott would pop the question, but he didn’t.

Her words, “He told me to dress kind of nice.

I had a silk blouse and a silk skirt. And I just put them on.

He’s like, ‘Oh, would you like to iron those?’ And I was like, ‘No.’ I was like, ‘Iron? That sounds terrible. That sounds like work that I don’t want to do.’ And he’s like, ‘I’ll iron them.

I guess my mom was like, ‘She’s going to need hair and makeup.’ And [Jonathan] was like, ‘You should make sure to do your hair for this random tour.'”
