The Everton starlet John Stones has been advised to refuse the move too Chelsea and hone his craft on Merseyside for at least a season more.
The 21-year-old defender playing for Everton was the subject of a £20 million bid from chelsea (the bluez) last week, which the Toffees turned down.
Roberto Martine has slammed the offer, insisting Chelsea are trying to unsettle the England international.
And Martin Keown has told Theinfostride, Stones should forget about a move this summer and concentrate on learning his trade at.
He said: “Chelsea are moving now probably because they can see he’s going to be the player they want but I’d rather see him play at Everton.
“I think he’s going to be an outstanding talent but I don’t think he’s the finished article by any means. There are things for him to work on and he would be better doing that at Everton.
“I feel that and will play for Chelsea this year so, as he won’t feature, it would be best if he was left for another season.”
Was this a good turn down by Jone Stones not to move too Chelsea ?
