“These donations clearly show that the Senator Buruji Kashamu-inspired Omoilu Foundation is committed to massive empowerment drive and uplifting the people.
“Omoilu is the only foundation that offers people across board a rare opportunity for breakthrough. Senator Kashamu takes delight in empowering people and putting smile on their faces and that is why he will go extra mile to make you happy. I want to congratulate the beneficiaries of today. I urge you all to make good use of the vehicles,” he said.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Hon. Odunjo thanked Senator Kashamu for the gift and urged wealthy Nigerians and political leaders to borrow a leaf from Senator Kashamu.
“We all know the cost of a Kia Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the market today. It is a big surprise for me and others. I want to use this medium to thank him for his benevolence towards me and other beneficiaries.
“I also urge other well-meaning Nigerians and political leaders to emulate Senator Kashamu’s philanthropic gesture by empowering people around them. The Federal Government cannot do it alone. They should not also wait till when they need the people for elections. We need more of Senator Kashamu to make Nigeria great again. God will continue to bless him and spare his life for us,” he said.
