As is so often the case in the upper teams of the beautiful game, the fate of two of the world’s most promising midfielders seems intertwined. Juventus star Paul Pogba is wanted by every top club, while Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti is likely a close second by the majority of those sides as well.
Mundo Deportivo reports that PSG are keen on signing France talisman Pogba and could be willing to allow Azzurri international Verratti to move back to Italy to facilitate any such deal.
It’s highly unlikely that the two clubs would have a free run at a swap deal given that Barcelona, Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea and Real Madrid (to name a few) have all been linked with both midfielders. Camp Nou is thought to be the preferred destination for both, but with Barca’s financial constraints, a trade of sorts between PSG and Juve is not the most outlandish suggestion in a game rapidly shunning any sense of reality.
