The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has called on its members nationwide to abstain from violence and instead promote peace and unity within the country.
Khalil Muhammad Bello, the National President of KACRAN, made this appeal in a statement released to journalists in Damaturu on Monday.
Bello stated, “KACRAN, as an organization, is dedicated to harmony and progress.

It strongly denounces any acts of vandalism and lawlessness, as such behavior threatens the nation’s fragile security and goes against our values as a civilized society.”
He acknowledged the challenging times Nigeria is facing, especially regarding insecurity affecting various regions.
Bello emphasized the importance of solidarity among all Nigerians, regardless of ethnic or religious background, during such critical times.
He emphasized, “We must unite to prevent any actions that could further destabilize our nation.”
The Association, through its National President, called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to increase funding for the North-East Development Commission (NEDC) to enhance the agency’s efficiency in fulfilling its mandate.
Bello also praised the exceptional leadership of Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.
He commended Governor Zulum’s establishment of a committee to promote peace between cattle rearers and farmers in the state, describing it as commendable.
He noted, “The committee’s mandate to address the root causes of conflicts and promote longstanding harmony in Borno State is a testament to his exemplary governance.”
KACRAN urged other state governors to emulate Governor Zulum’s proactive approach, highlighting that his transformative projects in Borno State serve as a model for leadership not only in Nigeria but globally.
Bello reiterated KACRAN’s unwavering commitment to assisting the federal, state, and local governments in finding lasting solutions to Nigeria’s security challenges.
He called on members to offer their full support and cooperation to achieve the collective goals of peace, unity, and development.
