Kelechi Iheanacho has finallly being declared fit to start for Leicester City for their away trip to Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Saturday, September 16.
Iheanacho has been battling with injury and fitness since he made the £25m move from Manchester City in the summer.
After playing two games for the Super Eagles during the international break, the striker was again a late substitute for Leicester City in their home 2-1 defeat to Chelsea last week.
“Thankfully most of them have come through. Vicente Iborra and Kelechi Iheanacho [both had] a clean bill of health,” Shakespeare said in Thursday’s press conference.
“It would be a boost for us to get three points,” the striker said.
“We have lost three big games and won one, so we need to keep going. We need to keep working hard.
“Everyone watching our team, knows we are playing well everyday every game but the points are not coming. So that is what we need to put in place to make sure we finish well.”
