Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has described President Bola Tinubu’s administration as a “government of anarchy,” accusing it of failing to uphold the rule of law and respect democratic institutions.
Okonkwo made the remarks during an interview on MIC-ON with Seun Okinbaloye, where he criticised the Federal Government’s handling of the country’s affairs.

“Tinubu’s government is a government of anarchy,” he said.
The former Nollywood actor accused the administration of undermining the rule of law and failing to respect the institutions responsible for sustaining democracy.
He also faulted the government’s economic policies, particularly the removal of the petrol subsidy and the floating of the naira, arguing that the measures had worsened the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.
According to Okonkwo, the country is experiencing severe hunger, insecurity and poverty, which he attributed to the policies and performance of the Tinubu administration.
He urged Nigerians to speak out against what he described as bad governance and take an active role in determining the country’s political future.
The ADC chieftain also called on Nigerians to prepare to vote out the ruling administration in the 2027 general election.
His comments come amid continuing political debates over the Federal Government’s economic reforms, the rising cost of living and the security challenges confronting the country.
As of the time the report was published, the Presidency had yet to respond to Okonkwo’s allegations.
