The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State has affirmed Hon Husseini Ejinni and Hon Isah Alhassan as the chairmen of Dekina and Ofu Local Government Areas, respectively.
The affirmation was conveyed in separate letters sent to the chairmen by the Chairman of the Kogi State PDP Caretakers Committee, Sen Danjuma La’ah.
The letters stated that the decision was based on the party’s investigation into the contested chairmanship positions.
According to the letters, the affirmation for Dekina and appointment for Ofu were made “based on equity, fairness, justice, and mutually beneficial to all parties involved.”
The committee assured that all aspects of the situation were considered to ensure the unity and progress of the party.
Sen Danjuma La’ah urged party members to remain calm and warned against impersonation, emphasizing that the party would not tolerate any form of impersonation by members claiming to be party officials.
