Kwara State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has lifted the one-year suspension it placed on a former lawmaker, Senator Mohammed Ahmed and five other members in Baruten Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
The Kwara APC in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, said the suspension was lifted and the affected members pardoned, after their sanctions were reviewed.
The party also pardoned Alhaji Samari Abdullahi, Alhaji Mohammed Suno Gofe, Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi Gunu, Hon. Adamu Sabi Ibrahim and Alhaji Aliu Kora Sabi.
The affected members were earlier suspended for anti-party activities, following the recommendations of a panel of enquiry set up by the party to probe the allegations. [APC]
