The Labour Party has clarified that only the state leadership is authorized to sell delegate forms for the Edo State party governorship primaries.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Obiorah Ifoh, the party emphasized that it has released guidelines for both the delegates and the primary election for the state, in accordance with the party constitution and electoral act.
According to the statement, forms for the Ward and Local Government delegates will be exclusively sold by the state working committee of the party, while the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms will be sold at the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja.

The party warned that any disregard for these rules would not be condoned and that members who choose to do so will face sanctions.
The guidelines also specify the process for purchasing and returning delegate forms, with clear instructions for aspirants.
The sale of Ward and Local Government delegate forms, as well as the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Edo primary election, will conclude today, Monday, at 6pm.
