Legendary singer Bisade Ologunde, a.k.a. Lagbaja, made a rare public appearance at Fireboy DML’s concert held at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, Canada. The 65-year-old singer dazzled fans with a live performance of “Back and Forth”, his collaboration with Fireboy from his 2024 album, “Adedamola.”
Other guest performers at the show included Lojay and BNXN, and it marked one of Lagbaja’s most notable public performances since he surprised guests at the premiere of “Everybody Loves Jenifa” in Lagos on December 8, 2024.

The masked singer delivered a superb performance of his many hit songs at the star-studded film’s after-party, reviving memories and lighting up the atmosphere.
He did the same at Fireboy’s concert, with several clips online showing the crowd erupting with excitement as the music icon, known for his quality Afrobeat fusion songs, hit the stage alongside the “Peru” crooner.
The concert also featured live renditions of Fireboy’s several hit songs, including his 2025 single “Dopamine.”
The Nigerian music legend, who has kept a low profile in recent years, was one of the most prominent Nigerian performers in the early 2000s with hits like “Konko Below”, “Never Far Away”, and “Gra Gra”.
“Adedamola,” released in August 2024, features other collaborations with superstars like Seun Kuti and Jon Batiste.
The Toronto concert is part of Fireboy’s international tour after the success of his 4th studio album.
