    Lagos State Ministry Of Health Bring Sensitization Against Gender Based Violence

    The Lagos State Ministry of Health has in a bid to reduce and completely get rid of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Lagos State collaborated with the office of the first lady, Mrs Joke Sanwo-olu to help sensitize the community.

    This is coming following the 16 Days of Activism against Sexual & Gender-Based Violence, which was done globally. The Lagos State Ministry of Health has therefore collaborated with the office of the First Lady, Mrs Joke Sanwo-olu to conduct a14-Day Social Media Campaign against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.

    In the course of the the meeting, the first lady who was duly represented by the Wife of the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Mrs. Funmi Omotoso stated that her office has been working to ramp up prevention & response to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.

    Joke Sanwo-olu explained that the Community Sensitization Meeting is fashioned to sensitize various groups to lend their voices to the commitment of totally eradicating Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
