Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has come out to console Senne Lammens after his costly error against Spain. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that it was a shame that his teammate couldn’t hold on to Cubarsi’s strike, Courtois stated that the Manchester United goalie remains an excellent goalkeeper despite his mistake.
Thibaut added that moments like that will make Lammens stronger in future tournaments.
His words, “It’s a shame that Senne couldn’t quite hold onto that ball.
We went up to give him a hug after the match. Senne is an excellent keeper.
This is bitter, but moments like this make you stronger.
We should be proud. We are the only team that has scored against Spain, one of the biggest favourites.”

The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992 the left and the right, but he’s not got any sense of danger yet, and empties the midfield area too readily.
