Leicester have completed the signing of Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler subject to international clearance.
The 31-year-old will cost the Foxes a reported £3m and has penned a three-year deal at the King Power Stadium.
“I’ve spoken with the manager and I’m very happy to be here because it’s a nice team. I’ve watched them lots of times and I like them.
“The manager was important for me, also the Director Jon Rudkin and the owners. For me the whole package was very positive because they wanted me and now I’ll give everything,” Inler, who began his career at FC Basel and FC Aarau, told Leicester’s website.

“For me it was not so easy because I had many, many teams [chasing me] but in the end I decided with my heart and I came Leicester City.
Inler has been capped over 80 times for Switzerland and featured at two World Cup tournaments for his country and at Euro 2008.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has been in search of a midfielder to replace the departed Esteban Cambiasso and could have landed a perfect fit for the Argentine, who opted against extending his one-year contract after an impressive 2014-15 campaign with the side.
Inler left Aarau for FC Zurich in 2006 and won two league titles with the latter in his short spell. He joined Udinese in 2007 and spent four seasons with the Italian side before moving on to Napoli in May 2011 in a reported £10m transfer
He scored 13 goals in 166 matches in all competition for Napoli, including a long-range strike against Chelsea in a last-16 tie during the 2012-13 Uefa Champions League season.
Inler said: “I hope I can give my best in the team. My quality will be to provide the passes to the front and with the fast players we’ve got I think it will be a great mix.
“I think in Italy everybody speaks about the tactics. Everyday there we practice tactics, but English football is fast both physically and tactically. I’m in the best league in the world and I’m happy.”
