Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has come out to say that he sees the club missing out on a top-four finish this season. He, however, urged Klopp and his boys to make those above them nervous before the season ends.
According to him, it has been a very freak season for all clubs, and Liverpool will have to face the consequence for dropping too many points.
Carragher added that he wants the Reds to put pressure on Leicester and Chelsea from now on, even if it might already be too late.
His words, “It’s been a freak [season] and the other teams [they’ve lost too].”
“At this moment, I still believe Liverpool will miss out on the top four.”
“However, they need to make teams like Leicester and Chelsea nervous and see what they can do.”
“With four or five games to go, they need to be in a position where they can jump on any mistakes the teams above them make.”
