Everton coach, Frank Lampard has come out to say that he would be delighted with a draw away to Liverpool in his first Merseyside derby. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Liverpool is a team that has just put four past Manchester United, so they deserve a lot of respect for being in incredible form at the moment.
Lampard added that the level of players and manager at Liverpool is top-notch, so his boys must be very ready.
His words, “It is a team that has just put four past Manchester United. You have to respect them as a team, it is an incredible team,”
“I have played Liverpool, managed against Liverpool a few times, and it is always daunting in terms of you respect the level of player and manager they have.”
