Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has come out to say that rewatching the game vs Napoli was a horror sight. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it was definitely the worst game Liverpool has played since he became manager, and the defending on display was simply horrible.
Klopp added that the Reds will surely need a bit of momentum to get going again this season.
His words, “We had a meeting with the players, I watched the [Napoli] game and it was a real horror to be honest. It was the worst game we played since I am here.”
“How can you get confidence in football? It all starts with defending the ball, and that’s what we have to do. If we can get momentum, then we can play football.”
On if the break will affect his team’s rhythm, “Did you see our game [against Napoli]? If we could lose this kind of rhythm it would be really cool.”
