Liverpool will honour club legend Kenny Dalglish ahead of their upcoming clash with Manchester United at Anfield.
The Reds have announced plans to unveil new branding of the Kenny Dalglish Stand and organise mosaics in two stands prior to kickoff on Oct. 14 to recognise the Scot’s service to the club.
In May, Liverpool’s owners Fenway Sports Group, took the decision to rename the Centenary Stand as the Kenny Dalglish Stand in line with the club’s 125th anniversary.
Dalglish is widely regarded as the best player in the Liverpool’s history, scoring 172 goals in 515 appearances after joining from Celtic in 1977.
He also enjoyed two spells as manager and now currently holds the position of non-executive board director.
