The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Comrade Julius Abure, has appealed to the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and its leadership to reconcile and focus on addressing the challenges faced by Nigerians due to bad governance.
Speaking at a press conference at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, Abure urged the NLC to join hands with the LP to create an enabling environment to capture power and use it for the betterment of the people.
Abure specifically appealed to Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of the NLC, with whom he has worked closely in the past, to set aside any grievances and work together for the collective good.

He emphasized that fighting the Labour Party at this time is unnecessary, especially when the working people of Nigeria are suffering.
Abure highlighted the need for unity within the party to effectively challenge the nation’s common enemies and improve the party’s performance.
Abure expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State and other party members and leaders who supported the party’s successful convention.
