Barcelona recently informed fans that striker, Luis Suarez will be out of football for two weeks after spraining an ankle in Sunday’s victory at Real Betis.
The former Liverpool star netted as Barca thrashed Betis 4-1 to move 10 points clear at the top of La Liga.
The man from Uruguay did not finish the game though, taking a knock to his ankle in the closing stages.
After undergoing tests at the training ground on Monday, he has pulled out of the Uruguay squad for this week’s China Cup.
Uruguay is set to face Uzbekistan in the semifinal of the cup.
