New AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Mike Maignan will stay at the club this summer. This decision dashes Chelsea’s hopes of signing the French goalie before the transfer window closes, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking to the press, Allegri confirmed that the France international will stay at San Siro.
According to him, Maignan remains one of the best goalies across Europe, and he is more than happy to stay at the club this summer.
His words, “Maignan remains the captain and is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe. I am very happy he decided to stay.”
