Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, has justified his decision to align with President Bola Tinubu with Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, and Seyi Makinde, the former governor of Oyo State.
Fayose said that Tinubu is a guy of vision, so that’s why they decided to take a position.
He reaffirmed his belief that Tinubu would work tirelessly for Nigeria’s improvement.

After meeting with Tinubu on Thursday in Abuja’s Presidential Villa, the former governor gave a speech.
“My name is Ayo Fayose, and I came to spend time with the President and Commander in Chief, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Fayose said.
I’m glad to be here for a few reasons. The first is to offer my heartfelt congratulations to the good people of Nigeria on this fresh start and newfound optimism.
You’ll see him focused and intent on leading the country in the right path, but he needs our help to get there.
Whoever sits here represents Nigeria, and we must support him. We owe it to our country to do everything in our power to see it succeed, and I’m here to tell you that many of your fellow citizens, including myself, Governor Makinde, and the great people of Nigeria, have decided that it’s in our best interest to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a man with a clear vision for the future of Nigeria. I came for that very purpose.
