Popular pundit, Simon Jordan has come out to blast Manchester City fans after the club performed a u-turn on planned ticket price increases following fan protests. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, seeing the entitled fans win yet again is very sad, and he’ll keep maintaining that those supporters are nothing but nauseating ingrates.
Simon added that Manchester City owners have the tendency to back down whenever they get put under some pressure, so he is not surprised at all.
His words, “So have we witnessed a clear win for those entitled, nauseating ingrates? I maintain the view that they are nauseating ingrates. And if they’ve managed to get the season ticket prices surrendered or frozen, that’s a different argument. I’d have no issue with that. But that wasn’t the question that was put to me.
They have a tendency, Man City, to back down whenever they get put some pressure under as an ownership. In this instance, if they wanted to put season ticket prices up there must be a good reason for it. They’ve suddenly decided to be benevolent again and give it back to the fans? Then up to them.”
