As if Man City weren’t frightening enough already, Pep Guardiola’s new side are reportedly on the verge of adding Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to their squad, with the Mirror reporting that £50 million will be enough to secure the Gabonese international’s services.
Guardiola is moving quickly to assemble a formidable side, after City captured Ilkay Gundogan last week, and his former teammate Aubameyang could follow the German regista to the Etihad. The 26-year-old could also scoop wages in excess of £190,000-per-week in setting up a mouthwatering attack. The former Saint-Etienne star could line up alongside Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne to give City one of Europe’s deadliest attacking trios.
