Man Utd defender Jonny Evans has joined West Bromwich Albion on a four-year contract.
The centre-half made 198 appearances (19 as a substitute) for United and scored seven goals.
A product of the Red Devils’ academy, Evans made his debut for the Manchester club in a League Cip clash with Coventry City in September 2007.
“Everybody at Manchester United would like to wish Jonny the very best of luck for the future,” the club said in a statement posted on their website.
The Northern Ireland international had not featured for United this season with his last appearance coming in a 2-1 away win at Crystal Palace in May.
The move sees him reunite with fellow ex-United players, Darren Fletcher, Ben Foster and recent Hawthorns arrival James Chester.
