Arsenal will have a poorer transfer window than Manchester United even if both clubs are in identical position right about now, according to David Seaman.
The Red Devils and The Gunners are both in need of proper footballers this summer.
Man Utd have been tipped to spend big to lure the best talents but this same cannot be said about Arsenal.
David has now said he is angry that the board will not back their new manager to help him compete with his rivals.
His words to talkSport, “It’s so frustrating at Arsenal because the club is running on a good profit.
“The fans are frustrated at the moment, especially after the result in the Europa League final against Chelsea.
“It was a disappointing result, it was made a little bit better by the weekend result [arch rivals Tottenham being beaten by Liverpool in the Champions League final], but it’s so disappointing.
“They’re struggling. It’s just so frustrating being an Arsenal fan and an ex-Arsenal player at the moment.
“You know what the club is capable of, so you’re just like, ‘come on, let’s see what you’ve got!’
“When you look at Manchester United and Arsenal, they’re in a very similar situation – they both need to strengthen at the back and they’re both without Champions League football, so it’s going to be testing times.
“But I’d say United are in a better place than Arsenal because of their buying power and the money they will pay for players.”
